Behind the Scenes of ARIVE: Project Management and Coordination Plan
Strong international collaboration requires clear coordination, shared responsibility and effective
communication. For ARIVE, these principles are set out in Deliverable 1.1 – Project Management and
Coordination Plan, led by the project coordinator, Riga Technical University (RTU).
The plan defines how the ARIVE consortium works together across countries, institutions and work
packages. It establishes a structured governance model that combines strategic oversight, day-to-day
coordination and practical implementation by Work Package Leaders.
A key feature of the plan is its focus on communication as an essential part of project delivery. Regular
meetings, shared digital working spaces and coordinated reporting help partners remain aligned, monitor
progress and address challenges early.
The plan also supports continuous monitoring, risk awareness, ethical implementation and compliance
with Erasmus+ requirements. It ensures that ARIVE is managed not as a set of separate activities, but as a
coordinated and adaptive collaboration.
Through this framework, ARIVE is well positioned to implement its activities effectively and achieve its
wider goal: strengthening research education through virtual exchange, digital innovation and
international academic cooperation.
